Joining CrossFit has transformed my life in so many positive ways that I could never have imagined and I am filled with gratitude. I have gotten so much stronger and have so much more stamina and energy. Family and friends that I haven’t seen in a long time have commented on my ability and difference in appearance and attitude. I am able to engage in more strenuous fun activities like hiking and travel and perform daily tasks that were formerly difficult with ease. I never would be at this level of satisfaction with myself or my life if not for the results of attending CrossFit classes regularly.

I never would have been able to improve like that without the OUTSTANDING coaching I have been fortunate enough to benefit from. Every coach in every class has been extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to the athlete’s well being. What has brought me the furthest is the solid support and encouragement that I have received from some of the coaches whose classes I have attended regularly. They believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself and that has meant the most to me and brought me further than I believed possible.

I have found myself lifting heavier weights that I thought possible and am committed to mastering a handstand, box jumps and using the 35 lb. bar for all lifting.

The community has been the biggest, most pleasurable surprise of all. I am so grateful for all the generosity, wisdom and joy that the other athletes have shared with me. It’s actually why I attend regularly. The fitness is just a side benefit!!

One fact about me that not a lot of people know: I started taking folk accordion lessons in the Spring, but got busy during the summer. I hope to pick it back up again during the winter months.
