1. Where are you from? Culver, IN
2. What brought you to ithaca? (skip if you’re from here) Started a PhD in Aerospace Engineering at Cornell
3. What do you do for a living? PhD student
4. What is your favorite local restaurant? Aldi
5. What’s your favorite thing to do in the summer in ithaca? play pick-up basketball
6. What’s your athletic background? I played a combination of football, basketball, baseball, and a little soccer from age 4 until I graduated high school. I threw shot put and hammer at my undergraduate college (Rose-Hulman).
7. What brought you to Pallas? I think CrossFit movements are cool and it is an easy way to get a good workout in without having to worry about writing my own program.
8. What keeps you here? The people are great -- very welcoming and helpful. I also feel like I am challenged at most classes.
9. What’s your favorite movement? handstand push-ups
10. What’s your least favorite movement? wall walks
11. What’s a goal you crossed off your CF list? bar muscle ups -- need to be more consist though
12. What’s a goal you’re working to achieve? butterfly pull-ups, ring muscles ups, handstand walk
13. If you could write a workout, what would it look like? I would like to see a workout involving some of the strongman equipment, like the yoke or farmer's carry bars. Also, rope climbs.
14. If you could only use one piece of equipment for the rest of your life, what would you use? Heavy kettlebell
15. Who’s your favorite athlete? Luke Kuechly (former linebacker for the Carolina Panthers)
16. What’s the most memorable sporting event you’ve ever been to? Purdue upset No. 2 Ohio State in football (2018)
17. What do you do for self care? exercise
18. What would you say to someone hesitant about trying CF? Go to a class.
