2. What do you do for a living?

Hairsylist and I own Karma Salon


3. You’ve got 2 awesome sons- would you like to tell us anything about them?

@tylerrides is a fantastic carpenter and extreme sports extraordinaire. He won first place doing California Enduro racing for the 2023 season.

@utopiansocietyjewelry is also an adrenaline junky on a snow board and creates exquisite pieces of art as a jeweler and milner  

I also have 2 bonus daughters from a previous relationship and we are very proud of them! @jamiejensenrealtor @jordanjensenlolstop


4. Do you have any bucket list things you would like to do after you retire?

Retirement? I’m doing it all now.


5. What made you start CrossFit?

I’ve always liked trying and playing new sports.  And ultimately @dona_atki talked me into. 


6. What are some CF goals you’ve crossed off the list?

7. What are some future goals you have?

Getting my HSPU back. Handstand walks and crossovers!


8. You had a shoulder injury and it seems like you’ve conquered that. What was that process like?

lol. Frozen shoulder. twice!  A practice in patience and trusting the process. There was always something I COULD do.   

9. What’s your favorite CF movement?

Box jumps


10. Do you have a least favorite movement?

squat snatches 



11. If you could write a workout, what would it look like?

Running  


12. How many Gorges Half Marathons have you done? Do you plan on doing them every year? And, have you ever run a marathon?

As many as there have been except for one! Yes! No, no desire.


13. What do you do for self care?

Massage, acupuncture, facials, and CrossFit! 

14. What’s your favorite restaurant in ithaca and what do you get there?


15. What’s your favorite home cooked meal?

Salmon, brown rice and asparagus 


16. What’s the best vacation you’ve been on?

Hawaii for my 50th birthday with the kids! 


17. If someone is hesitant about starting CF, what would you tell them?

It’s truly for everyone bc it meets you where you are. The community makes the hard stuff worth it.
